While taking time away from medicine to be with her daughter, Hannah, Dr. Persyn lived outside of Texas in Chicago, Baltimore, and Dubai. However, home called, and she returned to Texas in 2010. Along with her return to Texas came a change in career path. Cosmetic Medicine and Wellness had always been an interest, and upon joining a dermatology practice in 2011 as a Cosmetic Physician, the career change was solidified. In 2024, she expanded her wellness interest into Renewal Therapy, for which she is a platinum provider.
Dr. Persyn says she is humbled daily by the amazing patients she works with and the life lessons and friendships they have taught her. A cosmetic appointment between her and her patients is only partially about the cosmetic procedure. The conversations about general health, happiness, hardships, and life’s journey bring her as much joy and perpetual learning as the actual procedure.
Her endless curiosity for learning fuels her ongoing interests and training in cosmetics, general wellness, and quality longevity. Her goal with each patient is that they feel genuinely cared for, are reminded of the beauty they already possess, and that she utilizes innovative techniques to achieve a natural result.
Dr. Persyn spends her time away from Aesthetic House with her attorney daughter Hannah (aka “Bear”), her longtime friends, her many sisters, and her dozen nieces and nephews. She enjoys traveling the world with friends, various types of yoga, the history of ancient civilizations, anything science-related, golf, and a good book.
She is excited to join Aesthetic House and its talented founder, Jill Campbell, NP, to provide quality cosmetic procedures and care to our patients.
